Admission Process

Steps to becoming a student

Step 1

Apply

Apply via the twentepathway.nl.
Application deadline: 15 June

Step 2

Receive an Offer Letter

Usually within 48 working hours you will receive your offer letter.

Step 3

Secure Your Place

Pay at least half of the tuition fee. You can find the payment details in your offer letter.
Once you receive the Acceptance Form, sign and return it to admissions@twentepathway.nl

Step 4

Payment & visa pack

Pay the (remaining) tuition fee and the visa fee*.
*Not applicable for EER passport holders
Payment deadline: 1 July

We start sending out visa packs from May onwards.
Fill in all required documents and send them back within 5 working days.
Visa application deadline: 1 July

Step 5

Visa Application

The university will start applying for your visa once we receive the full tuition and visa fee payments, the signed Acceptance Form and the correct visa documents.

Step 6

Health Insurance

Arrange your Dutch health insurance (mandatory).

Before Your Arrival

Step 8

Start Studying at Twente Pathway College

Start induction week: 7 September
Start academic year: 14 September

How to apply

Applying to Twente Pathway College is easy! Either apply via your local agent who will support you with the process from application to arrival, or do it yourself by completing the online application form.

When applying online, please attach the following documents with your application:

  • Copy of your passport
  • Copy of your most recent transcript
  • Proof of your English capability (IELTS, TOEFL or Cambridge English)
  • Copy of your diploma
  • CV
  • Personal statement

You can also apply if you do not have all the above documents available yet.

Our dedicated admissions team will assess your application and may be able to provide you with a conditional offer letter based on the documentation provided.

Please note: we are only able to accept applications online from applicants who are over the age of 16.

*Following Dutch regulation for foundation year education: If you are able to obtain the required secondary school level at a public school in your own country, you may only qualify for direct admission to the University of Twente. This includes students in the British system (IGCSEs, AS and A-levels). In case your grades are lower than required for direct entry to the University of Twente, we may be able to consider you for admission.
